Educators participating in a large ARIE international professional learning academy

Global impact

Powerful learning travels when it respects place.

ARIE brings practitioner-led professional learning to educators across countries and cultures. We combine internationally tested practice with deep respect for local expertise, educational priorities, and community context.

International professional learning

Not a presentation brought from somewhere else.

ARIE international sessions are interactive, practical, and grounded in the realities of implementation. Educators experience authentic learning, design work for their own students, receive feedback, and leave prepared to put new practices into action.

Global experience. Local adaptation. Sustainable capacity.

A systemwide approach to transformation

The work reached educators across Parramatta, greater Sydney, and surrounding school communities within the Catholic education system. Rather than treating professional development as a single event, ARIE connected academies to collaborative planning, curriculum design, school-based support, coaching, and leadership capacity.

Offerings included Think Global PBL Academies, Advanced Academies, Preceptor Coaching, PBL Science through Inquiry, PBL Numeracy, PBL Student-Centered Learning, and Meeting of the Minds.

How ARIE works internationally

Built for transfer, not dependence.

Our goal is not to import a model unchanged. It is to help educators understand powerful practices, make informed adaptations, and build the local knowledge and leadership required to sustain them.

Listen first

Understand the local culture, priorities, curriculum, and existing educator expertise.

Learn through experience

Model the same active, authentic, collaborative learning expected for students.

Design for context

Adapt tools and practices so they are useful within the local educational environment.

Support implementation

Connect training to planning, coaching, reflection, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Bring ARIE to your context

Design international professional learning around your priorities.

ARIE works with schools, systems, universities, ministries, nonprofits, and education initiatives to create professional learning and implementation support that respects local goals and builds lasting capacity.
